I am interested in how acute observation can elicit the sensation of reverence. My current work mines the fleeting and incidental phenomena of our daily landscape – clouds passing, the shifts of wind, a fallen leaf – and conveys them from the periphery to the center of visual awareness through drawings, photographs, experimental film and poetic texts. The aim of my work is to entice viewers, through the sensuality of perception, to tangibly reacquaint themselves with the beauty inherent in the most ephemeral and ordinary of circumstances.
